I'm probably going to do illustrations of Sade and Yiisha like the one I did for the alien woman. If you're interested in one for your character, let me now. The more details you give me, the fewer liberties I'll take.

Re: Illustrations
I'd like one for Ka'den.
His armor is grey plates with the rim around the t-slit being dark red, as well as a few of the plates having red stripes or markings. A number of mythosaur skulls and other Mando symbols are etched in gold on his chest and shoulder plates. The body suit under the plates is dark grey, almost black. As well as the utility belt around his waist, I was also picturing something like a bandoleer, but that can be up to the artist's discretion. :-P The two blasters are holstered from his belt, the handles facing inwards so that they can be drawn across the body (a Relby k-23 and a Verpine shatter gun). The jetpack should be a JT-12, the smaller and more compact one. If you can draw him holding the helmet in one arm, that would be good, so you can see his face. Basically, he looks like a ticked-off Rastafari guy with short dreads, and he has three horns growing from his forehead, the one in the middle being slightly larger than the other two, which are about two inches or so out from the middle one. His eyes are bright amber yellow, and he has facial scars (you can invent where/what they are). Also, if you feel a little ambitious, give him some sort of trophy on the armor, such as Boba Fett's wookiee pelt braids, though preferably not the same thing, since that would be kind of lame to rip that off. :-P Thanks!

Re: Illustrations
I'll try to match your requests as closely as possible. Which illustrations are you looking for specifically? The picture of the alien woman--Telaanwique--is in post #74 in the main game thread. I'll post any other pics there, also, once they're done and there's an appropriate reason for the GM to mention the illustrated character.

Re: Illustrations
Thanks. I just wanted to see some of your other work. I found your stuff on facebook too. Nicely done!
Oh! I almost forgot, his Zabrak facial tattoos are thorn vines. You can do them in whatever pattern works best. I've done illustrations before too, and I know how some things are best left to the artist to figure out during execution. :-P

Um...call me slow, but I can't figure out how to view the image of Telaanwique. It was in post #74, you said?

Re: Illustrations
I was just about to ask about the facial tattoos.
Hmm, I did link to it in post #74...Eh, don't worry about it; it's in my gallery. It seems this forum doesn't like indicating links... Click the images there to see full size; the one of Telaanwique is entitled "Mysterious Alien."
Now, I have a few more questions about Ka'den...
1. I'm currently looking for short dreads. In the event I can't find any, which would you rather I compromise on, short or dreads? I.e., if it comes down to a choice between "short hair" or "long dreads," which should I go with? A third alternative is that I could do shoulder length cornrow braids.
EDIT: Update! I have found some short dreads...but I'm not entirely thrilled with the quality. So, I can go with the somewhat low quality short dreads, I can go with really high quality longer dreads, I can go with high quality short hair, or I can go with the high quality cornrow braids I mentioned. I'll leave that choice with you.
2. When you say "dark red," do you mean like a maroon/burgundy color, or more like a brick red or crimson?
Also, just FYI, scars are something I've never been good at, so...I'll do my best but don't hold your breath.

Re: Illustrations
1. Dreads are more important. Make them long if you have to. :-P Um, whatever looks best is fine. I'd imagine the short dreads would be better, unless the quality is so bad that it looks terrible or something.
2. Brick red/crimson
No problem. I'd just like to see how you do. :-)

Re: Illustrations
1. Okay, I'll go with the long dreads. The short ones just look awful. I'll get them as short as possible, though...
2. Got it.
Oh, and the scars are coming out better than I expected. The tats, too.

Re: Illustrations
I have an armor sigil design for one of his shoulder plates, but I can't figure out how to post it here for you to see it. It's on a paint document. Don't really know how to post something like that.

Re: Illustrations
Post it to www.imageshack.us; it'd be easier if you converted it to a .png (save as, there will be a drop-down menu, choose Portable Network Graphic or PNG).

Re: Illustrations
I was working on this, kind of lost my Muse for a while, but I might be back on this this weekend if Civ5 doesn't monopolize all my time.

Re: Illustrations
I had some flourish brushes I was using for the vine tattoos, but I bought some actual vine Photoshop brushes recently.
What kind of skin tone do you want for Ka'den? It seems Zabrak range from a medium-to-dark olive like Eeth Koth to a light black like Agen Kolar (essentially a North African skin tone range).

Re: Illustrations
I think just about the same tone as Agen Kolar or possibly darker is what I've been picturing. I leave it to your discretion to make the finer tuning, since I know darker skin hues are harder to work with due to lighting and such.

Does this look like about the tone you're looking for?

This stupid forum doesn't distinguish links. -_- Click on "this" in my previous post, which I've now edited to be underlined.

Yep, that works. If anything, go darker rather than lighter, but that works fine.

Re: Illustrations
I'm going to start working on the tattoos shortly; I hope to have it done this weekend.
EDIT: Oh, and just wanted to let you know the beskar'gam won't be perfectly traditional...I'll match it as best I can.

Re: Illustrations
If you're having trouble finding poses, there's a lot of good Jango Fett pictures that have the armor. Just add the right hues, and there you go.
